• Are glass dildos safe?

Yes they are completely safe. Our toys are made from Borosilicate of which Pyrex is a brand. A properly annealed inch thick piece of Borosilicate will withstand up to 3,000 lbs of pressure and extreme heat and cold so there is absolutely no danger in soft tissue context.

Our products are kiln tempered for as much as 24 hours at extreme temperatures metabolically strengthening the Pyrex and making it resilient to temperature changes.

You may see small air bubbles which inevitably happens as our artists works the different coloured glass into or onto other piece of glass. Air will occasionally get trapped within the glass and poses no potential problems.

Pyrex glass is remarkably tough, but dropping a piece may occasionally break or crack it depending on what it falls on eg concrete! If you see a crack or chip discard the toy straight away.

In terms of germs and disease it is the safest and most hygenic material to use for adult toys.

• Why are glass dildos so expensive?

Basically because they are time consuming, labour intensive products to create. Some of our pieces take 2-6 hours to form (our lamp workers are master glassblowers, with years of training and experience) then the piece is kilned. The annealing process, which strengthens the glass dildo, takes 24 hours or more to heat and cool down.

•Why should I choose a Gorgeous Glass toy ?

All Gorgeous Glass toys are individually hand crafted functional pieces. You may see glass dildos available at lower prices but believe us when we say you can tell the difference! Beware of Glass dildos that are made of a cheaper grade glass, made by inferior blowers or maybe even cast by children in China! • How long is the order processing time?

Our standard turn around time is under 7days. However due to the hand made nature of our toys and stock levels orders may take up to 21 days but will not exceed 28 days. Once your order has been shipped we will E-mail you with tracking information for you to monitor it's progress. If your item is out of stock you will be e-mailed with the approximate delay time.

Note: Orders placed after 3pm gmt Friday will be processed the morning of the next business day.

• Can I heat up or cool down my toy?

Besides the obvious care when dealing with any functional glass item, fast temperature changes (from very hot to cold, very cold to very hot) may cause your piece to break. Pyrex is designed to withstand very high temperatures. Even though Pyrex may survive rapid temperature shifts, Gorgeous Glass strongly advises against it.

Gorgeous Glass recommends:

Warming: To warm your Toy, we suggest filling your sink with the desired temperature of warm water and soaking your Toy for 20 to 30 minutes, giving the heat time to soak all the way into the center. Use caution when heating. Do Not over heat, as it may cause burns to sensitive skin. Test before using.

Cooling: For an unusual feeling, we suggest placing your Toy in the refrigerator or ice cold water, NOT THE FREEZER, for a period of 20 to 30 minutes. Test before using.

"WARNING" - DO NOT place your new toy in the freezer. Pyrex Glass is NOT intended to be frozen. DO NOT FREEZE.

Other companies would lead you to believe otherwise. Please understand, Pyrex glass is best suited for heating, by design so for the very best sensory stimulation we suggest you follow our guidelines.

• Lubrication?

You may use your favourite lubrication on your new toy. You will find that because of the ultra smooth finish of your new toy, your lubrication will not become sticky or gummy.

• How do I clean my glass dildo?

We recommend that you clean your Pyrex glass dildo using warm water, a mild non-toxic detergent and a soft cloth or sponge.

• How do I store my new toy?

With care your new toy will last forever. Care should be taken to keep your item scratch free and clean. Always keep your toy when not in use in the pouch provided. By all means treat it with the respect that any high quality item should be.

• Is my Gorgeous Glass toy going to look like the ones pictured?

As we've mentioned all of the adult toys we make are Hand Made, due to this fact each piece is slightly different. Our quality control staff inspect every piece that is made in our shop to ensure that each dildo will be as close as possible to those pictured.
